We were into the OB's office today. April 30th was the original due date they gave us back in September. Somehow it migrated to May 2nd, but it all has a margin of error of 5 days so we are definately in the Zone.
Michelle the midwife listened to Meena's heartbeat and it sounded great! Both of us smiled wide at each other. Somehow Chad started feeling really nervous about being in the doctor's office, with Stace in stirrups. We are betting we will be repeating this scene soon!
They checked Stacey and said she was one cm. dialated, but that there was no effacing and no real sign that anything was getting started yet. We have the Cinqco De Mayo party at Stacey's office on Thursday and Stacey really wants to be able to attend. My guess is our baby is going to do whatever she feels like, our preferences won't factor in.
Chad is officially into the time he had projected for family leave, but still working so we can maximize time off after the grand entrance of the newest Groshart.
Man, we can hardly wait!!
